Guatemalan children have a beautiful tradition of confiding their worries to dolls and placing them under their pillows before going to sleep. These dolls, with their Mayan origins, are believed to magically take away their worries during the night. This tradition was created by the indigenous people of the Highlands of Guatemala as a way to find solace from their worries throughout the generations.
